About

I am an art therapist, specializing in working with children and parents, and bringing authenticity, creativity, compassion, and curiosity to each session. Whether we just talk or explore intentional art-making, my approach is client-led and strengths-focused. I enjoy helping people working through symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress, or dealing with difficult life transitions, parenting, grief/loss, chronic illness, disability, or language/speech challenges. Art therapy is for anyone, needs no art skills, and can help with gaining self-awareness, self-esteem, relational skills, and more. My work is trauma-informed and systems-based, and I use mindfulness, somatic awareness, CBT, DBT, narrative, and play therapy techniques in addition to art interventions. I'm trained in Conscious Discipline and child guidance, and use encouragement and candor to promote autonomy, belonging, and competence, key elements of well-being.
