I know how frustrating it can be to feel misunderstood by a well intentioned therapist. It feels disheartening to be offered strategies that may not work for your neurodivergent brain, only to feel insufficient when those approaches fall short, leaving you feeling defeated. I get it. I've been there as an ADHDer and as a mom of 3. Sometimes our toughest experiences lead us to a new path for ourselves and even provide a light for others. That’s my story.
