I have experience working in a number of settings including domestic violence shelters, outpatient substance abuse treatment and corrections. I utilize motivational interviewing, solution focused and CBT to help clients address their challenges. I challenge clients to identify and utilize their strengths to minimize symptoms and solve problems. I believe each client is the expert of his/her/their own life and my purpose as a Therapist is to help guide the client on his/her/their journey to self-discovery and healing.
