I see children, adolescents and adults in person and via telehealth. I utilize a client centered approach where I give unconditional positive regard to my clients in a non-judgmental therapeutic setting. I integrate CBT and DBT skills that are evidence-based for treatment. I have seen clients meet their treatment goals and develop positive coping skills to effectively manage their distressing symptoms. The greatest gift of therapy is the therapeutic alliance between the therapist and the client which elicits change and allows the client to use the tools that they have learned to make lifelong gains. I am the president/owner of KCS Counseling, Ltd. I have 18 years of experience working in crisis services, in community mental health, in a public school, in a private therapeutic day school and in private practice.
