I enjoy encountering people who are becoming dismayed at the way at least part of their lives are turning out. The outside world can feel frightening or chaotic. We may face a turn in monetary fortunes, a disappointing relationship, a difficult family member. Young, middle-aged or older, life can disappoint us, We start to wonder how we got to the place we are in and how to make it better. We say we want something and find ourselves going in the opposite direction. Often we want to be open with others and stay guarded and hidden.
