As a psychoanalyst and as a patient, I understand that we can never know all the meanings of what we say and do. But we can develop a respectful curiosity as we endeavor to get to know the other and ourselves in relation to each other more deeply. As we develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, we can learn to live with more of who we are or become. I have taught and supervised at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, NYC, The Karen Horney Institute, NYC and CAPA. After entering a second analysis in 2002, I began reading and writing poetry. I have published and presented my work both at home and abroad.
