My approach is rooted in liberation and self-determination, and I work collaboratively, meaning that I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to understand what has shaped you, explore what it looks like to live in alignment with your values, and work on strategies to get there. Our personal struggles also often reflect the larger systems we live within. Many of the challenges people face are rooted in trauma, oppression, or disconnection, and I believe that healing must honor those realities. I draw from trauma-informed, relational, and strengths-based approaches and I view healing as both personal and political.
