Starting therapy can feel like a big step. I congratulate you on starting your journey Depression and anxiety can be debilitating, and life events can be challenging times. I aim to provide a safe and supportive space to help you to identify & strategize coping skills for positive change. I earned my master’s degree in clinical social work, from Widener University. My experience includes work with pregnant and postpartum women, teenagers, and adults struggling with a wide variety of issues. My approach is unique to each person and their struggles, but it always includes goal setting, effective coping skills, and empathy. Of the many therapeutic approaches to counseling, I focus on cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy. In addition, I utilize mindfulness-based techniques. These techniques have proven mental, emotional, and physical benefits, especially when practiced consistently.
