Orla Cashman, Ph.D., LCSW is a doctor of Clinical Social Work with a Masters in Social Work from Hunter College and a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from New York University.While finishing her thesis on the effects that socioeconomic status has on treatment and mental health, Dr. Cashman published her findings in a book she co-authored titled Toxic Wealth: How the Culture of Affluence Can Harm Us and Our Children. Dr. Cashman has maintained a private practice in Greenwich, Connecticut for 25 years, working with hundreds of children, adolescents, and adults.
