My background includes work within the child welfare system where I assisted families in navigating conflict, the court system, monitoring safety of abused/neglected children, and assisting caregivers in overcoming domestic violence, gang violence, and substance use. My experience has given me a special focus on helping children and teens who have experienced trauma, and I am passionate about walking alongside all young people as they navigate the challenges that life throws at them. My goal is always to help children heal and grow so they can embrace what is most important: simply enjoying their childhood!
