Navigating adolescence and the transition to adulthood can be challenging. Although we are born with unique traits and personalities, we are shaped and influenced by our communities, relationships, life experiences and the media. My goal is to support you and your child (or young adult) through this confusing but exciting life stage. I enjoy identifying unique strengths and building self-worth and self-efficacy. We will work together to strengthen coping skills and process past life experiences that continue to affect our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I have 20 years of experience providing trauma-informed therapy to individuals and groups. I am currently providing interactive virtual therapy for adolescents/young adults and have limited availability for equine-assisted psychotherapy in Marne, MI. I have advanced training in EMDR, TF-CBT and DBT.
