In strength-based practices I work with adults and couples who find themselves in difficult stages of life. Navigating the grief and loss that are intrinsic parts of difficult stages I also assist my clients in developing curiosity and realistic expectations. With individuals, some stages include young adulthood seeking self-awareness, the end of a relationship due to divorce, relocation or death, shifting parental roles, and re-establishing oneself after family, career or death of a partner. With couples, regaining loving camaraderie moving forward through tragedies and infidelity as well as renewing connection and enjoyment. I meet each client where they are and in a non-judgmental, supportive conversation begin to establish a connection with adult individuals and couples. Through that connection we explore their family history and the effect that has had on them and develop ways of moving forward with self-awareness, growth and hope.
