I am a warm, outgoing personable counselor who is client-centered and use a variety of counseling approaches to assist my clients as needed. I treat those with depression and anxiety issues and also couples and families. I have had counseling experience for twenty years and began a private practice four years ago. I have a multifaceted approach using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Positive Psychology, a Focusing technique by Eugene Gendlin, and Mindfulness as needed. I also teach skills taken from Dialectic Behavior Therapy and those of Virginia Satir, as well as others. Liking yourself is the beginning of healing.
