My passion lies in working with individuals who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness. My work as a psychiatric social worker has influenced my strong belief in the power of talk therapy within the world of psychiatry and mental health as a complement to other treatments. While medications can treat symptoms, processing past experiences can really help address the underlying issues that may be contributing to the symptoms. As your therapist, I want to dig down there with you to understand how past experiences are impacting you now and explore strategies we can put in place to help you move toward your future.
