I like to approach peoples struggles from their perspectives in a collaborative way to help discover, refine, and accomplish the goals they orient themselves towards. I am not convinced there is any one “right way” of doing things, and I find a lot of value in exploring the motivations and philosophies that drive our thoughts and actions. I value scientific and empirically-based approaches to mental health, compassion, empathy-building, and trying to understand an individual perspective from their own point of view. I tend to work well with adults, young adults, and teens that are motivated to make positive changes in their life.
