I appreciate how difficult the decision can be to engage in therapy and believe in the power of having a safe and nonjudgmental space to explore the challenges life often brings. My areas of clinical expertise include crisis and trauma work. As a therapist, I am committed to being genuine and authentic with my clients. I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clinical issues including grief, relational problems, self-injury, suicide, depression, anxiety, suicide loss, trauma, abuse, and other issues that can create disconnection to oneself and others. In addition to my clinical practice, I enjoy teaching and supervising graduate counseling students. I have had the opportunity to design and teach a graduate course at the University of Florida based on my research related to felt sense experiencing.
