I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My work often uses a person-centered approach, focusing on my client’s presenting issues and exploring to find the core struggles that lead to what is really going on. I believe in meeting people where they are and including humor whenever possible. I have historically worked with people with eating disorders in a residential setting and have since taken that experience with me to an outpatient setting for the past few years. My work experience also includes working with clients on their chronic pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, borderline personality disorder, LGBTQIA+ struggles, etc. My therapy style often uses a holistic approach and I will do my best to utilize the various techniques in my tool-belt to mesh with your unique way of processing to help get you where you want to go. I like the therapeutic space to be an open and welcoming experience, so I will always be upfront with you and walk you through any of the work we do together.
