About
As a postpartum or grieving dad you have likely found yourself: Sitting in the hospital feeling terrified for your partner and baby, while believing you must remain calm and composed no matter what. Replaying moments of a complicated or traumatic birth long after it’s over. Feeling emotionally numb or unusually irritable, unsure why small things trigger big reactions. Missing your partner while living in the same house, unsure how to bridge the growing distance. Grieving a miscarriage or loss privately, believing your role is to be the steady one. Longing for permission to be both strong and emotionally honest at the same time. As a dad I understand what this feels like. Together we will be able to help you understand your anxiety, irritability, or numbness and not feel ashamed of it. In therapy you will be able to process a difficult birth or loss without having to be the "strong" one, and learn to reconnect with your partner in a way that feels close and supportive again.
