Greetings! You are taking the first step to become a better version of you and that takes courage. I commend you for taking this first step and I am honored that you are considering me to help you with achieving this goal! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Maryland, D.C. , and Virginia. I received my Masters degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore with a specialization in mental health and sub specialization in substance use. I have been practicing for 12 years and have helped adults, adolescents, and children better manage anxiety, depression, relationships, stress, and trauma. I like to call the first session our "getting to know session" because we will begin with brief introductions and then you can tell me what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to get out of therapy, and how I can best assist you.
