About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist specializing in working with school aged children, teens, and adult individuals. As a child therapist I utilize play therapy, expressive art, and sandtray therapy modalities, providing children with developmentally appropriate opportunities to self-direct and “play out” their feelings and inner worlds much as adults “talk out” their feelings in traditional talk therapy. I also work with adult individuals or parents seeking to re-procress traumatic memories. My counseling approach is integrative and proscriptive, relationship-focused, and strengths-based.
