The choice to pursue therapy is important, as is finding the right fit in a therapist. I work in a collaborative style with clients to maximize their time and get the most out of the process as possible. I am not locked in to any one style of therapy, rather I try to work with what works best for each individual. That said, I believe our history shapes who we are, but we also need to deal with practical solutions in the here and now. Therefore, we have to balance both to make lasting change.
