I work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, eating disorders, and life transitions. My counseling style is mainly attachment-focused and person-centered, with a blend of strengths-based and emotion-focused techniques to meet clients where they are in their journey. Part of my counseling focus is understanding the connection between the body and the brain to disarm shame in understanding why we are the way we are. I offer a space that encourages creativity, self-exploration, and acceptance and understanding of complex emotions. I am deeply interested in how attachment styles impact eating disorders, as our attachment influences not only our relationships with others but also our eating habits and overall health. By viewing disordered eating through an attachment lens, I believe we can offer a more holistic and effective approach to treatment.
