Hello! I am Dr. Ramya and I am a pediatric neuropsychologist at Horizon Neuropsychological Services. Being a neuropsychologist means I am a licensed psychologist with further training/expertise in brain and behavior relationships. I am skilled in the assessment and diagnosis of disorders impacting development (e.g., ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression). Testing typically involves a clinical interview/rating scales from parents/child, interviews/ratings from teachers, in-person cognitive and academic testing that typically ranges from 4-8 hours, and a feedback appointment to relay results.
