About

I deeply believe in the human capacity for resilience. I steep my therapeutic approach in the understanding that all people seek a sense of connection, comfort, and safety in their own minds and bodies. I view each client through a person-centered framework, harnessing their unique strengths and better equipping individuals to navigate the inevitable highs and lows of life. It can be hard to find our footing during experiences of grief, loss, and trauma. Our existence and place in the world can feel shaky. During these times, existential worry can lead to panic and a sense of isolation. I frame therapy inherently as a collaborative and creative act. I draw from a range of perspectives in my clinical work, including CBT, narrative therapy, and relational psychodynamic approaches. I use familial, social, and cultural stories to inform the work we do together. Your sense of self and place in the world can be understood through these lenses.
