I consider it an honor to be allowed to be present as people discover new levels of mental and emotional health and wellness. I firmly believe that, barring a few exceptions, people already have in them what they need. At the moment they are seeking help, something is creating a barrier to having the best life possible. I see my role as one who hold a space for them to safely work through their distress, while giving support and challenging thoughts and behaviors that undermine their success.
