I have a passion for helping people work through life’s challenges. It is my belief that our physical and mental health are improved when we have close, healthy, and supportive relationships in our lives. I love to laugh and feel humor is a great tool to deal with life's challenges. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and feel honored to walk along them in their process of transforming their challenges into resilience. I received my Master's of Social Work 26 years ago and have worked in various fields providing me with a unique background. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy which is based on attachment theory and the idea that our emotions can be used to guide us to lead healthy and meaningful lives. I am also trained in EMDR for treating trauma.
