I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 25 years of experience providing therapy for youth and families. I help people connect and develop compassion for themselves and others. I teach interpersonal skills. I teach emotional regulation and distress tolerance. I help with recovery after trauma. I have experience treating a range of ages and mental health problems. When needed, I am an excellent diagnostician. I work closely with psychiatry and I am knowledgeable about medication options. I enjoy helping people understand their brain and the, “why,” behind problematic symptoms, behaviors and patterns that keep them stuck.
