Welcome! I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in early childhood and providing evidence-based treatment for young children (ages 2 to 7) experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties. I completed my training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and previously served on the faculty at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. I am also a certified provider for PCIT. I have expertise in treating a range of common behavior concerns in young children, including defiance, outbursts, aggression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, ADHD symptoms, adjustment difficulties, and challenges at school or daycare. I work primarily with parents, as research shows the most effective treatments for young children emphasize training caregivers in behavior management techniques. This type of therapy focuses on helping parents understand why their child’s behavior is occurring and how to implement evidenced-based tools to manage behavior in a positive way.
