Coping with intense emotions and deciding on what actions to take when life brings its inevitable challenges and opportunities can be difficult. I believe that clarifying who and what are most important in our lives provides helpful guidance for evaluating options and making decisions, even when unpleasant emotions show up. I work with each person's unique strengths to develop healthier strategies to manage difficult thoughts, feelings, situations, and memories. My practice is grounded in compassionately delivering evidence-based therapy approaches including ACT, CBT, and EMDR. I work collaboratively with clients to identify their important values and goals in their lives and use mindfulness, compassion, and values-based therapy approaches. I help clients develop new skills and mindsets and encourage taking steps that will help move them toward more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
