Someone afraid and skeptical of therapy. I will build trust so that things only thought about can be spoken outloud. I will listen respectively, and not be in a rush to comment, question or disturb. That silence is necessary for both of us. When I do speak I will reframe negative thougths into something more comprehensible, less confusing, supportive and nonjudgemental.
