My work focuses on trauma and everyday stresses that LGBTQ+ folks face with a specialty in working with queer, transgender, non-binary, and gender expansive people. I am trained in EMDR. I enjoy working with folks on generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, figuring out gender or sexuality, gender dysphoria and transition, trauma/PTSD, and many types of relational issues. I focus on long-term depth-based psychotherapy, so my ideal client is ready to start working on (or thinking about working on) long-term issues, behavioral or thought patterns, and/or trauma that affects their lives. I offer a safe place for LGBTQ+ clients to be themselves and know they are completely accepted for who they are so they can feel safe focusing on other issues. My approach is nonjudgmental, systems-level, and anti-oppressive. I tend to be non-directive, which gives clients plenty of space to be at the helm of their own therapy. I am also trained in EMDR.
