Often times, we find ourselves stuck in behavior we know is holding us back from being the best version of us. We show up in the world aware of our problems, but unsure how to take steps toward real change. Whether this be how we show up as parents, as partners, or as friends, sometimes it can be difficult to show up intentionally when old habits keep pulling us in familiar directions. There is power in understanding. When we learn to make sense of our emotions, our reactions and our needs, we create the possibility for meaningful growth and change. Children need to be seen and heard to be understood. Supporting kids and their families is an important part of my work. Creating a safe space for a child's voice and an encouraging space for a parent's confidence can transform how a family communicates and connects. My approach is deeply humanistic and exploratory. I believe people grow best when they feel understood and supported.
