As a complex trauma therapist, I help individuals move through some of the most difficult moments in their lives - the strong emotional tides and automatic responses that are often inherent to unexpected life changes, or past traumatic experiences. Our everyday responses to stress - anxiety, anger, irritability, bouts of depression, or fatigue and the effectiveness of our ability to cope with current stressors are often related to painful past experiences, some recent and some from long ago. My practice is dedicated to offering individuals the supports necessary to navigate through pain from our past to a place of resiliency. As a seasoned clinician I am certified and trained in EMDR, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, and IFS informed EMDR - the treatments most effective for addressing the impact of trauma and its legacy. My work is supported by DBT approaches, in which I am also comprehensively trained.
