I empathize with the strength and courage needed to reach out and ask for help; this initial step can be the most difficult in the treatment process. Keeping this in mind, I strive to ensure the initial session is a comfortable and empowering experience. My primary focus will be getting to know the individual, couple or family and identifying treatment goals. I will assist the client in working towards realistic goals within a therapeutic framework based on personal needs. I believe building a therapeutic rapport is a critical component of the process as it works towards creating a healing enviroment.
