Rocket Recovery is a program of Bruce Burleson Counseling. I'm Bruce and I started Rocket Recovery because I got tired of watching good people stay stuck in a revolving cycle of going in and out of rehabs and making little long term progress. I realized that traditional weekly therapy often moves too slowly and is inadequate when you feel like you're white-knuckling it every day. And not everyone needs to, can or should, enroll in an IOP. Using an eclectic set of tools, Rocket Recovery is an alternative approach built around fast-acting, practical tools that actually change how you think and feel in real time. Rocket Recovery helps you learn to shut down the distorted thinking that drives cravings and relapse, mindfulness practices to stay present instead of numbing out, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/tapping) and other tools that help to lower feelings of anxiety, cravings, and emotional triggers in minutes.
