I hold the opinion that most challenges to our health come from things that have happened to us in the past. Sometimes people need help processing what has happened to them and understanding how it impacts their life today. I believe that people are generally good and are always striving to live their best life. I like to come alongside someone, in an accepting and curious manner, to help them figure out how to move forward in the most healthful way possible. I conceptualize treatment through the lens of trauma, which means I look for the root cause of a person's trouble rather than just treat the symptoms. I am able to conform the pace of treatment to the wishes of the client, never asking them to go where they don't want to, but always moving forward towards greater health.
