My practice focuses on men dealing with anxiety/depression, grief and trauma as well as couples issues. You may feel that you are distressed and weighed down or that something important is missing in your life. My goal with patients is to form a supportive therapeutic relationship that assists you in working through difficulties to gain a clear sense of your needs and purpose. I seek to help by respectfully collaborating in the uncovering and working through of issues and patterns, sometimes long standing, that have gotten in your way. Patients are often struggling with work/life transitions, issues around identity and loss, and relationship stresses. My approach is eclectic and pragmatic, supporting patients' insight and understanding of the roots of their distress and means of working through difficulties. I was trained at Harvard-teaching hospitals and U.S./European universities.
