My approach to therapy is collaborative in nature and client-centered. I consider myself a trauma informed clinician who prioritizes the therapeutic relationship as the foundation. Clients are typically motivated; We work together for change with internal and/or external events that increase anxiety/fears, stress, panic, and interfere with sleep, relationships, goals, and self care. Clients often want to understand what is happening and why. Additionally, we work to explore practical tools and coping strategies. We also examine ways to process losses and integrate these experiences that continue impact their lives.
