I believe that for therapy to be successful there must be a strong therapeutic relationship, one where trust and safety are established, and I understand that it can take some time to build that type of relationship. I provide each client with a warm, nonjudgmental environment where trust and safety are more likely to occur. I believe that we do our best healing when we are ready for it and have the desire to change whatever is no longer serving us. I also believe that we must laugh at ourselves at times, if not often, and I see humor as an important part of therapy and life.
