My ideal client is one that is able to do three things. First, my ideal client should be one that is can acknowledge that he/she has an issue/issues that is/are getting in the way of allowing him/her to live a healthy lifestyle. Second, my ideal client is one that is able to take that first step to bringing themselves into therapy. If they have support, that would be even better for that will hopefully increase the chances of long term success. Finally, my ideal client will be one that is not just coming into sessions when they are required, but that they are doing the work outside sessions that is needed to have success.
