Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am based in Illinois and I identify as a Black Therapist. I have been practicing for 14 years and I provide culturally responsible behavioral health services to adults. My role is to empower you to achieve balance between your personal, mental and emotional well-being. I am ready to assist if you are challenged with sadness/depression, achieving work/life balance, needing to make a career switch or have perinatal/postpartum concerns. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and can assist with lactation matters as they impact mental health. During the first session you can expect to discuss the presenting problem which ultimately led you to explore therapy. The is also the time for us to get to know one another and begin the process of building a rapport.
