I am passionate about working collaboratively with a diverse population of individuals through a social justice, anti-colonial, and anti-capitalist lens. I have experience with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, sexual and gender identity, child behavioral issues, social anxiety, and couples issues. As a bi-lingual (English & Arabic) woman of Middle Eastern background, I understand the challenge multiple layers of identity has on mental health. Using a culturally sensitive approach, I enjoy working with underrepresented minorities, especially those who identify with the LGBTQ+ community. Blue Depths Counseling prides itself in using a social justice, anti-colonial, and anti-capitalist lens.
