Are you experiencing an extremely difficult and challenging season in your life? Do you feel lost or stuck? My name is Sam and I am a native of North Georgia. I am a 4-time graduate of the University of Georgia. Most recently in 2016, I completed an Education Specialist in Professional Counseling. For over 15 years I have worked with individuals, parents, teens, and children in many different capacities addressing mental, behavioral health and educational concerns. In addition to individual counseling, I am passionate about supporting parents and couples. Distracting from unpleasant, seemingly unbearable feelings doesn't lead to better feelings, only less feelings and missed opportunities. Watering half-truths and negative experiences cultivates feelings of sadness, anger, fear, hopelessness, shame, and unworthiness. These feelings often lead to isolation, harmful choices, and unhealthy relationships.
