Hi, I'm Sammy! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and EMDR Certified therapist. In my over 10 years of practicing I’ve worked with an array of clients on issues such as trauma recovery, relationship stress, anxiety, and depression. I enjoy using a holistic, client-centered approach to explore presenting issues and symptoms aiming to identify their root cause. I believe most presenting concerns can be traced back to a wound from a past relationship or life experience that gets stuck in the brain and stored in the body. I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in my practice. This form of therapy helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life events by activating the brain's natural healing process. I will work with you to better understand your own behaviors and responses, develop practical skills, and heal by directly targeting the wound.
