I believe in the importance of compassion, empathy, warmth, kindness, and occasionally even humor in the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, safe space for clients to process challenging emotions and experiences. I like to be active in the therapeutic conversation rather than the "blank-slate therapist." I specialize in working with adults and teens facing life transitions, relationship issues, grief and loss, Cancer, chronic illnesses, depression, and anxiety. My approach is both client-centered and solution-focused, while incorporating other treatment modalities based on client needs. I currently have a private practice in Marin County. Previously, I worked as a therapist at Hospice by The Bay, Cancer Support Community, and Well Clinic.
