Sara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Certification in Perinatal Mental Health. She is dedicated to helping women navigate the complex challenges of women's mental health and the transition to motherhood. Becoming a parent can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with its share of difficulties. From infertility and pregnancy loss to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, traumatic births, and other isolating experiences, many women face significant emotional challenges during this time. I have 15+ years experience working in schools, homes and the private practice setting. Part of my work with women is connecting them with resources in their community. It takes a "village" to raise a child, but not everyone has a "village" accessible to them. It is helpful to be aware of the community supports available to you!
