Hi, I’m Sara Livengood, LCSW and this is the part where I tell you about myself so you can see if you think we might be a good fit. This is my least favorite part by the way, the hey sell yourself, isn’t really my jam but I’ll give it a shot. I primarily specialize in trauma work and relationship/parenting/how the hell do we get along therapy. For me, the work that is done in my office begins with the relationship so I show up as my authentic self and I hope you will as well. So what makes me different? Honestly, I have no clue, but I can tell you some things about myself that might help you figure it out. I’m an EMDRIA certified provider which basically means that I utilize EMDR and I’ve done a ton of extra training to be certified. EMDR stands for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing which is a kind of trauma therapy.
