It can be exhausting as a parent seeing your child suffering and feeling like you just don’t know what to do or say. Many families reach out for support after struggling alone through weeks or months where every day feels like a constant uphill battle. Reaching out to a therapist is not easy. Regardless of the reason, calling a stranger to ask for help can feel intimidating. I would like to take a moment to reassure you that this first step is often the hardest, but it does get easier. I offer a safe non-judgmental space to talk about the difficulties you and your child have been experiencing and begin taking steps forward together. I am a licensed clinician and registered play therapist who works with children, teens, parents, & adults. I have advanced training with children and teens to improve their mood, cope with anxiety and stressors, increase emotional regulation, and building their self-esteem. I also partner with parents to provide support for challenges they are facing.
