I have enjoyed my extensive work with individuals that have struggled with various mental health concerns such as substance misuse/ addictions, depression, anxiety and PTSD. I genuinely look up to my clients as they are open to implementing new skills and ideas into their already established perspectives in life. It is my belief that the opposite of addiction is connection to healthy individuals, as we are social beings by nature. We long to be wanted, loved and needed, and sometimes seek that longing through maladaptive ways that end up hurting us. I always appreciate a client with an open mind and a willingness to try new things.
