I am a compassionate counselor who loves working with children, adolescents, and families/parents. I utilize unconditional positive regard and an eclectic approach to therapy that includes aspects of client-centered and Adlerian theories. I believe that people deserve to self-actualize and be the healthiest version of themselves with boundaries and fulfilled needs. This is achieved by various modalities such as sand tray, experiential play therapy, and a bunch of acronyms (EFT, CBT, ERPT, CPRT, among others). I strive to be approachable and accepting while occasionally utilizing humor. I specialize in trauma-informed play therapy which includes directive and non-directive play, sand play, martial arts, and tech play (VR and Video Games). I try to find what best fits the individual. I also work with parents to help them understand and effectively communicate with their child. Parents have the most power to help their children heal.
